Rent the Runway Review

Rent the Runway Review

Igave Rent the Runway a try and so far, I love it! I’ve worn such high fashion outfits and received lots of compliments! Clothes sharing does seem to be a more eco-responsible choice, especially since clothes are shipped in re-usable cloth garment bags.

RTR is a perfect choice for work clothes for women and gives you the ability to wear trendy clothes on a budget. I’ll explain a bit about how membership works, in case you are curious!

The RTR membership plan I’m subscribed to is RTR Update, which includes four pieces per month for $89. There is also an unlimited plan for $159 per month. They offer a nice discount for your first month.

This is how the renting process works: You pick your favorite items – I recommend reading reviews, as size and fit varies greatly by designer. The items are sent to you, and you get to wear them for a month! When it’s time to swap, Rent the Runway will ask you to pick new items to replace your four spots for. If you want to keep something longer, you can. Next step is packing your items in the garment bag provided and shipping your returns back to them via UPS. So easy!

I’ve been rocking this fabulous pink coat for the last two months, and for the moment, I refuse to send it back!

Here are some of the other pieces I’ve rented… This oh-so stylish metallic skirt, a flirty black dress, a velvet off-the-shoulder top, and a red Zac Posen handbag. I wore most of these to office related functions – and the velvet top for date night, with Hudson skinny jeans. I highly recommend Rent the Runway – to add a little flair to your wardrobe, and have some fun! Heck, it’s going to be hard for me to part with my pink coat. Lol. Luckily there is the option to buy.
